Bookings without commission: a fixed subscription, not a fee per cover.
A booking without commission does not cost an amount for every cover booked. Resatop is billed as a fixed subscription, €49 excl. VAT a month for one restaurant, whatever the number of bookings. The guest list belongs to the restaurant, which can export it whenever it wants.
No commission • EU hosting • No commitment
Three ways to pay for bookings.
| Resatop | Platform charging a commission per cover | Software with a high subscription | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you pay | A fixed subscription: €49 excl. VAT a month, €39 excl. VAT per additional restaurant | An amount for every cover booked through the platform, set by the contract | A monthly subscription, with an amount specific to each offer |
| When the cost goes up | When you add a restaurant, never with your covers | With every cover booked: the fuller the room, the heavier the commission | Depending on options and the number of venues |
| New guests | None: Resatop is not a directory; it handles bookings from your website, your Google profile and your social networks | The platform may bring you some: that is what the commission pays for | Depending on the offer |
| Guest list | Yours: the restaurant is the data controller, Resatop the processor; CSV and ZIP export | To check in the contract: who the data controller is, and whether export is possible | To check in the contract |
| Commitment | Monthly, no commitment | Depending on the contract | Depending on the contract |
| Data hosting | European Union (Ireland), backups in the European Union | To check | To check |
To put a figure on the difference with your own contract, the simulator on the pricing page calculates what a commission per cover costs, on your figures.
Your guest list belongs to you.
- Resatop does not sell this data and does not reuse it to market to your guests. Your restaurants' guests are not added to Resatop's marketing lists.
- Free export: in Settings › Data, the owner downloads the “Guest list” (.csv) or the “Full export” (.zip, with bookings and settings). Export stays open if access is blocked or after cancelling, and each export is logged.
- Your guests exercise their rights from their booking link: withdraw their consent, ask for a copy or for their record to be erased. You handle these requests from the Guests tab, within one month.
- A record is kept for three years after the last booking, then anonymised.
- Data is hosted in the European Union (Ireland), with hourly backups kept for 30 days.

In three steps.
Step 1 · Setup
You put your page online
You customise the booking page (logo, colour, welcome message), then copy the widget code for your website or the link for your Google profile and social networks. Each link carries its source, so you know where bookings come from.
Step 2 · During service
Your team keeps control of the list
Each booking creates or updates a guest record in your dashboard: notes, history of visits and no-shows. Only the owner can export, and each export is logged.
Step 3 · Guest side
The guest books with no middleman
The guest books on your page without creating an account: they receive their confirmation emails and manage their booking through a link, with no password.

What the product does today, and what it does not: better to know before you try it.
- Without commission there is no marketplace either: Resatop is not a directory and does not bring you new guests. It handles the bookings that come from your website, your Google profile and your social networks.
- No “Reserve with Google” today: your Google profile gets the link to your booking page.
- No automatic import from another tool: upcoming bookings are re-entered from the planner, with a switch-over checklist in the settings.
- Export is reserved for the account owner. The guest list (.csv) and the full export (.zip, with bookings) are downloaded from Settings › Data; there is no button for bookings alone.
- The optional reminder text messages are still billed per unit on top of the subscription.

How does Resatop make money without commission?
Through the subscription, €49 excl. VAT a month for the first restaurant and €39 excl. VAT for each one after, and through the optional reminder text messages, €0.08 excl. VAT each. Resatop takes nothing on your bookings and does not sell your data.
Does the guest list really belong to me?
Yes. The restaurant is the data controller for its guest list and Resatop is only a processor: it processes the data on the restaurant's instructions, does not sell it and does not reuse it to market to your guests. Guests exercise their rights (access, erasure, consent) from their booking link, and you handle them from the Guests tab.
How do I export my guests?
The account owner opens Settings › Data and downloads the “Guest list” (.csv: name, email, phone, consent, notes, numbers of bookings, no-shows and cancellations, dates) or the “Full export” (.zip, with bookings and settings). Export remains possible even if access is blocked or after cancelling.
Without commission, who brings me guests?
Not Resatop: it is not a directory. Your guests come from your website, your Google profile, your social networks and word of mouth, and book on your page. Resatop gives you the links and the widget, and shows you where bookings come from.
Can I leave Resatop whenever I want?
Yes. The subscription is monthly with no commitment. You cancel yourself; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, with no refund for the period already started. Your data stays exportable.
